QA Engineer (Manual + Technical)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer focused on manual and technical testing, not pure automation.
You will test fintech systems where correctness, reliability, and edge cases matter.

QA is a part of the engineering process, not just a final checkpoint.

Responsibilities

• Functional and regression testing of web products
• API testing (REST, webhooks)
• Validation of payment and transaction flows
• Edge-case and negative scenario testing
• Log analysis and data validation
• Collaboration with developers during feature design
• Maintaining test cases and checklists

Requirements

Must have:

• 3+ years of QA experience
• Strong manual testing skills
• Experience testing APIs (Postman, curl)
• Understanding client-server architecture
• Ability to read logs, JSON, and basic SQL
• Clear and structured bug reporting

Nice to have:

• Basic JavaScript or C# understanding
• Writing simple scripts or checks
• SQL (select / join level)
• Fintech or payments experience
• Understanding retries, statuses, idempotency
• Security basics (XSS, CSRF, PCI DSS awareness)
